Last December, I realized I had picked up quite a few CDs that were released during 2002. Like my friend Steve, I decided to compile a Top Ten list. Well, the Top Ten quickly became the Top Twelve because I wanted to cram in as many good releases as I could. Most of the year's damage happened while I was in Portland, Oregon for a couple weeks. Even for the most casual music enthusiast, you can spend a day in Everyday Music (site may no longer exist).

We're getting to that time of year again. As the year winds down, I discovered that I've picked up 30 CDs released in 2003. However, this year isn't as bright. After a quick sift through the list, I came up with only 8 worthy of Top Ten status. (You do the math.) And I think the #1 spot for the year was something I just got last week. Bah... humbug.

I'll post the list in another month or so. Year ain't over yet!
