It's a shame I didn't hear TV on the Radio's Young Liars before the end of 2003, otherwise it would've made my list. It's likely the most original music I've heard within the last year. A Brooklyn duo decide to release an EP that's part blues, part jazzy, part glitchy electronic, and part gospel. Part gospel? Yes, part gospel. And be sure to stick around for the extra hidden track at the end to hear a barbershop quartet rendition of a Pixies song. It's all very catchy. Yikes.
