I already pulled out this Brian Regan reference a couple years ago, but I think it's time to pull it out again. Man I can see! The little eye infection episode I had in India prompted me to dart to the eyeglass shop immediately upon my return. Suddenly "instantly improve vision" shot to the top of my to-do list.

I haven't owned eyeglasses in 13 years. But today I picked up a new pair. I love 'em. They're a bit nerdy, but lightweight. So I've got that goin' for me. They're not quite oval, not quite rectangular. Little -- metal -- different. The world is still spinning a bit when I turn my head. It'll take a little getting used to the fact that the lenses are an inch from my eyes as opposed to on my eyes. But I think my peepers will thank me for that. All in all, I'm happy, and maybe I'll leave the contact lenses in the drawer for a while now. Mr. Four Eyes is back.
